Ahhhhhh. I am such a n00b at Metroid on the Wii. I couldn’t get past the first boss (but, in my defense, he was an evil mutha). I finally got tired of dying, so I put the Wii away and came back to the office to work. Hah!

We’ve been playing Tetris Party, Target Toss Pro: Bags (both WiiWare) and Raving Rabbids TV Party nearly non stop since Christmas morning. I suppose you could say we’re Wiidicted

I never got into the original Metroid and I’m fairly positive my wife wouldn’t buy into the whole “get another game” when we already have Mario Kart, Mario and Sonic Olympics, Raving Rabbits, several WiiWare titles and the Wii Fit — maybe I should try though

I got Metroid because my wife got me the wrong season box set of the Sopranos for Xmas (Season 6.1 instead of 6.2). Went to Worst Buy to swap the disks, and discovered the 6.2 box set was half price! Score! That left me a cool $30 from my exchange, which paid for most of Metroid. Now if I can just get used to moving with the controller and nunchuck together….

That’s something I haven’t really mastered. It always seems to awkward to me. Raving Rabbids TV Party does it well but with some games it’s just odd to control that way.
