We spent today at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and the nearby Walker Art Center. The sculpture garden contains one of the iconic images of Minneapolis (no, Dad, not Loni Anderson). I’m talking about the giant sculpture of a spoon and cherry. We had a blast playing with our new camera and checking out the sculptures. You can check out some of the photos we took by clicking here.

Here is a picture of Katie at her spring band concert last night (she’s the smiley one on the right). She had to perform three songs, then dash off stage for a quick trip to a nearby soccer field, where Jesse’s team, The Pineapples, were playing a scrimmage. Katie is assistant coach of Jesse’s team. The head coach passed us on our way to the field — his daughter’s band was performing at the same concert Katie had just left. Crazy schedules. Jesse’s team won the scrimmage 1-0, thanks to wonderful coaching.
